J. Lee Amason, Jr. DMD, PC
Dr. J. Lee Amason, Jr. was raised on the Georgia coast in a small town called Darien. The eldest of five children, he was named after his father, Jack, from whom he developed his indefatigable work ethic. He inherited his love for music from his mother, Ginny, and began playing the bass guitar at around the same time he began working in the family business, a seafood processing plant. From thirteen years old until he was twenty-six, Dr. Amason worked alongside his father and brothers in the plant. During that time, he grew to admire his family dentist and began to consider dentistry as a career.
He received his Bachelor of Science in biology from Valdosta State University in 1982 and his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the Medical College of Georgia in 1986. He also studied at the L.D. Pankey Institute, the most respected continuing dental education institute in the world.
Ever since, he has played an active part in the Kennesaw community. Aside from being a dentist, he is an avid health and fitness enthusiast. He loves the outdoors—hiking, skiing, bicycling and rock climbing are just a few of his favorite activities. His wife, Tia, and his only child, Charlee, often join him in his many outdoor adventures.
Dr. Amason began wearing red high-tops in high school and has worn the shoes ever since.
Carrie Logue, DMD
Originally from Orlando, Florida, Dr. Carrie Logue moved to Atlanta to attend Emory University, where she received her Bachelors of Arts in psychology. During her time at Emory, Dr. Logue worked in a dental office as an assistant and fell in love with dentistry. She decided to pursue her DMD through the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry in Augusta, Georgia. Throughout her career, she has focused on individualized and compassionate care for her patients.
Dr. Logue believes prevention is the key to oral health. She wants her patients to be proud of the smile that they show the world! Most teeth and gum problems can be caught early by keeping regular checkups, so it is very important for patients to work with their dentist to keep their smiles healthy and happy.
Dr. Logue lives with her husband, two children, and Golden Retriever named Ziggy in Roswell, Georgia.
Tia Amason, Practice Administrator
Tia was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She met Dr. Amason in 1987 when she visited his practice as a patient.
